Drip Capital, Inc., a portfolio company of GMO VenturePartners, has raised $113M (approximately 16 billion yen) through investments and loans from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, GMO Payment Gateway, IFC, and others. The seed investment by GMO VenturePartners via Y Combinator has led to a large-scale joint investment by Japanese institutional investors.
